When attractive bright colours are required on wood, it has only been
possible in the past to obtain the desired effect with paint. Paint
however, being highly pigmented, obliterates the natural grain of the
wood.
Colorglaze is a new satin finish manufactured in 7 colours. The colours
are translucent allowing the natural grain of the wood to be seen
through the finish. An infinite range of attractive pastel shades can
be obtained by mixing the colours with white haze. Colorglaze dries in
4-6 hours to a stain finish but gloss or matt finishes can be obtained
by applying a matt or gloss varnish. Colorglaze should be stirred well
before use and brushes cleaned in white spirit. 1 Litre will cover
approx 175sq ft.
